Handling of cancellations

In the event of typhoons, severe weather, or other force majeure, sailings may be canceled or departure times may be rescheduled earlier. The following procedures will apply in such cases.

  • Refunds must be arranged through the travel agency where the reservation was made. Refundable amounts include the fare and the International Tourist Tax.
  • In the event of rescheduling to a different sailing date, the requested cabin may not be available depending on availability. A fare difference may be charged or refunded depending on the new cabin selected. Thank you for your understanding.
  • Passengers who choose alternative transportation such as air travel are responsible for making their own arrangements. The operator will not be liable for any costs or provide any compensation.
  • In the event of cancellation or changes in departure time, any hotel arrangements and additional accommodation costs will be the responsibility of the passenger. Thank you for your understanding.
  • The decision regarding service cancellation will be made based on the situation three days before the scheduled departure.

Foreign currency exchange at Ishigaki Port Terminal

Please prepare TWD in advance, or use selected shops inside Euglena Ishigaki Remote Island Terminal. An automatic currency exchange machine is also available at FamilyMart Ishigaki 730 Monument Store, about a 5-minute walk from Euglena Terminal.

Taiwan Immigration Application

From Oct 2025, Taiwan Arrival Card is online only (TWAC, free). No paper forms.
Apply within 7 days before arrival.
After submission, you will receive an Arrival Card Number by email. Please save or print it for entry.

Keelung Port E2 Terminal Transportation

基隆港国際旅客ターミナル

YAIMAMARU will dock at Keelung Port Pier 19.
Shuttle bus service is provided between the ship and terminal.
Normally to E2 Terminal, but may change to W2 Terminal depending on conditions.

Visit Japan Web is recommended for entry into Japan and re-entry procedures.
However, Ishigaki Port does not support Visit Japan Web for customs declaration.
